Who we are

Lino's Flooring Corp ("Lino's", "we", "us") is a flooring installation company based in Dorchester, Massachusetts, serving Greater Boston and South Carolina. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to this website only — not to the paperwork for a flooring project you hire us for.

What we collect

Information you give us

• Estimate requests: your name, phone number, ZIP code, the type of flooring you are interested in, and anything you choose to tell us about the room.
• Appointment bookings: your name, email address, phone number, the date and time you picked, the address for the in-home visit, and any message you add.
• Calls, texts and emails: whatever you send us, plus your phone number or email address.

Information collected automatically

• Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages requested and the time of the request, recorded in standard server logs by our hosting provider.
• Cookies: a small number of cookies needed to run the site. See our Cookie Policy.

We do not ask for, and ask you not to send us, sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, payment card numbers or health information through this website.

How we use it

• To call or text you back and answer your questions.
• To schedule and carry out your in-home estimate, and to prepare your written quote.
• To do the work you hire us for and to contact you about it.
• To keep the website secure, prevent spam and fix problems.
• To meet legal, tax and insurance obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with anyone for their own advertising, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Who we share it with

Only service providers that help us run the business, and only what they need:

• Wix.com hosts this website and stores form submissions and bookings on our behalf, and runs the online scheduling (and any online checkout). Wix processes this data under its own privacy policy.
• Google provides the map on our homepage and the fonts used on this site. When those load, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address under Google's privacy policy.
• Financing providers, only if you ask us to help set up financing for your project.
• Authorities or advisers where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.

Calls and text messages

When you give us your phone number, you agree that we may call or text you about your estimate request, appointment or project. These are service messages, not marketing. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts at any time, or HELP for help. We do not share mobile numbers or text-messaging consent with third parties for their marketing.

Cookies

This site uses only the cookies needed to run it — no advertising or social-media tracking cookies. The full list, and how to control them, is in our Cookie Policy.

How long we keep it

We keep estimate requests and booking records for as long as we need them to serve you, and project records for as long as required for warranty, tax, insurance and legal purposes. When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.

Security

This website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to submissions is limited to the people who need them to respond to you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can opt out of texts at any time. Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may give you additional rights. To make a request, call or text (617) 991-8852 or email JoseG@linosflooring.com. We will not treat you differently for making a request, and we may need to confirm your identity first.

Children

This website is for homeowners, property managers and businesses. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
