01 — What you get
The pad and the stretch decide how a carpet feels on day one and how it looks in year ten. Our carpet installers remove the old carpet and pad, fix squeaks and tack strip, lay the right density pad, then power-stretch every room so seams stay tight and the carpet stays flat.

02 — Why carpet
Why carpet still wins bedrooms, stairs and second floors in Boston homes.
Carpet and pad absorb footsteps and echo — the best floor for upstairs bedrooms, condos and any room over a neighbor.
Many homes are carpeted in a single day, often with furniture back in place the same afternoon.
Soft landings and real grip on stairs — a practical choice for homes with young kids or anyone unsteady on hardwood treads.
Often the most affordable way to refresh a whole floor of bedrooms — and a fast, high-impact fix before listing a home.
03 — Options
We bring samples to the estimate so you see them in your light.
Soft, dense and formal. Bedrooms and living rooms.
Tough, casual, hides footprints. Family rooms, basements, stairs.
Texture that hides wear and adds character. Great on stairs and hallways.
Modular squares for offices, classrooms and rentals — swap a tile instead of a room.
Material & detail
Dense pile, the right pad underneath, and edges finished tight to the base.

05 — Questions
Most carpet installs in Greater Boston run $5–$10 per square foot including pad, removal and installation. Stairs are quoted per step. Estimates are free and itemized.
More than the carpet. An 8-lb rebond or memory-foam pad adds comfort, insulation and years of life; a thin pad lets the backing break down early. We spec the pad for each room.
Yes — waterfall or Hollywood (wrapped) style, or a runner over hardwood treads. Stairs are the highest-wear surface in a house, so we recommend a dense loop or frieze.
Most single-floor jobs are done in one day, including furniture moving and old carpet removal.
In a dry basement, yes, with a moisture-barrier pad. If the basement gets damp we will recommend waterproof luxury vinyl plank instead.
Solution-dyed nylon or polyester with a stain-treated fiber, in a loop or frieze that hides tracks. We will bring pet-friendly samples to the estimate.
Fresh carpet in bedrooms is one of the fastest, cheapest pre-listing upgrades — it photographs clean and removes a buyer objection. Hardwood carries the bigger resale premium in main living areas.
